Electric Car and Future

In the last few years, you will see that the demand for electric cars has increased significantly.  In fact, more and more people are now considering selling their old gasoline powered car and electric.  And, there are people who are now proud owners and drivers of electric cars.

  So, just what is it with electric cars that a lot of people are now buying one for themselves and easily replacing traditional petrol powered cars?

  First of all, you have to consider that electric cars are more expensive than traditional cars.  It is also slower and electric cars are also smaller in size than traditional gasoline powered cars.  And, even though this is the case, many people still prefer electric cars over gasoline powered cars.

  Electric cars are powered by an electric motor instead of your traditional internal combustion engine.  The electric motor derives its power from the battery installed in the electric car.  Even though you need to charge the battery, you'll see that with today's battery cell technology, a dollar of electricity will enable you to get a hundred miles with your electric car, before you ever get the battery  There is no need to recharge.

  So, if you use your car everyday, you can easily add $ 30 to your monthly electricity bill, which is better than spending a hundred dollars a month in gasoline.  In the long run, you will see that electric cars are significantly cheaper than traditional gasoline powered cars.

  You also have to keep in mind that electric cars are not a new concept.  In fact, such cars were invented ever since the first car was developed.  The idea was scrapped as battery cell technology became available.  Thanks to the advancement of technology, it is now possible to run cars on electricity through batteries and do so efficiently.

  These cars are made of lighter materials, and are much smaller than conventional cars.  This is a great way to get a good power to weight ratio, which will make the car go faster and go even farther than its predecessors.  Although electric cars that exist today are not as fast or powerful as cars with internal combustion engines, it does offer what most people want today, which is a huge savings.

  In addition, electric cars do not emit harmful gases, which contribute to greenhouse gas in the atmosphere and ultimately to global warming.  Due to the environmental concerns of the people today, electric cars are becoming increasingly popular, especially for those who are concerned about the environment.

  These reasons alone are enough to give you the conclusion that electric cars will definitely be the future of driving.  Until you see that most people will not start driving electric cars.
